OBC 'Build Your Own Sandwich' Picnic, October 19th

It's back on! The OBC Picnic is rescheduled for Sunday, October 19th 10::00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.ish. We have a new twist to the whole affair. The venue is taking place at our very own OBC Office at the corner of Booth and Albert. The plan is for the 'Picnic' to be integrated into the Sunday Ride. If you can't ride that day, you are still most welcome to drop by for a sandwich, a hot and/or cold beverage, snacks, and a friendly 'hello'. Those of you who haven't visited the newly renovated office (more than double the square footage of the former office), now's your chance! It would be great to see you there. Take care.

Note: please e-mail  me  if you think you can make it on your bike or otherwise, so we can get a sense of how much food to purchase. Thanks so much!

OBC Fall Picnic, Sunday, September 21st - Updated with maps

Get set for another great social OBC Social Event. Our Fall Picnic will be located enroute during the Sunday morning ride. 'Build Your Own Sandwich" using a variety of luncheon meats (and meat alternatives) and cheeses, as well as assorted complimentary ingredients such as tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, salt & pepper, green onions, hummus, pickles, and my favourite - simulated bacon bits, will be on hand to house these ingredients in a variety of sandwich wrappings and breads (with gluten free alternatives).  Yumm!  Fruits and vegetables, along with beverages ranging from hot coffee from Bridgehead, bottled water, and assorted juices and pop will be served. And, don't forget about the cookies and potato chips.

Those who can't afford the time to ride are most certainly welcome to drive out and drop in any time from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00ish p.m.  The more the merrier.

Mark this one on your calendar.  I look forward to seeing you there.
