Starting this season, we will be using flickr to store photos from club events.   Please see our public flickr page for photos throughout the season.  If you are a flickr user, please Follow Us on flickr to keep up to date.  As always, if you have photos to contribute, please see our Posting Photographs page for details.

Open TT Series starts May 5th (Women's) and 7th (Open)

The Open and Women's TT series start on May 5th (Women's) and 7th (Open). Same as always, registration between 5:30 and 6 pm, first rider off at 6:30.

Participation rules remain the same as 2014 - current OBC members, free. Members of other Ontario cycling clubs (bring your card!), or licensed racers (Canadian UCI licenses, only!) $30 for the season. No try before you buy offers! Not a member? Sign up on-line before hand!!!

To speed up registration, you can fill in and print the waver and seeding sheet ahead of time. The 2015 waver is available on-line: NCC Liability Waiver

The course is a 15 km (10 km for the WTT in May) out-and-back following the Eastern Parkway from near the Aviation Museum to the turnaround near Montreal Rd and finishes just opposite the start line. Parking and registration are in the Aviation Museum parking lot.

Our TTs aren't only for speedy riders - I encourage all club members to come out and give a TT a try - you might get hooked!

Social - A Biking and Hiking Tour In Portugal - Wednesday April 22nd

Social - A Biking and Hiking Tour In Portugal - Wednesday April 22nd

Susan Roe and Jane Hammingh visited Portugal in Sept/Oct 2014 and cycled the Alentejo Circuit in Portugal's largest region. It lies north of the Algrave stretching across Portugal from the Atlantic coast to the Spanish border. It's a predominantly rural region, much of it rolling farmland dotted with cork oaks, vineyards and olive trees with ancient hilltop settlements where whitewashed houses line twisting cobbled streets.

Touring Proposal

How about a cycle/camping trip this season?
How about a tour in the Saguenay / Lac St Jean area this season?
Your tour leaders are hoping to find out if there is enough interest amongst our members for both of the above Tours wrapped up in 1 single Tour.
