All it has done is snow snow snow in February! And then rain! But it is almost spring and time to get the bike tuned up!

Over 900 number of people have registered in the first four weeks of RLCT registration. If you have not yet registered, remember to check the OBC Website and register!

RLCT Update

Brrrrr..... It’s cold and snowy outside!

Whether you are cycling outside on a fat bike, commuting to work, spinning or skiing in Gatineau Park, the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour is only a short 6 months away!

Your Rideau Lakes team is busy finalizing online registration, working with Queen’s University and Algonquin College, reviewing the routes and sorting out the logistics for a successful 46th year of this event.

OBC Club House at Albert and Booth 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It's that time again! Bring the family! Bring the kids! Bring a friend or two. Non-members are welcome! Come and find out what our club has to offer you. Fall colours signal a change for all of us.  Our OBC activities are shifting from a successful TT, touring events and youth program seasons to Cyclocross. All Directors have been hard at work in their program areas. And on the social side, George Gonis is now back from his 10,000 km cross Canada odyssey and steering our social activities.

Wow it's July! 

The Global Relay Road Race Championships have come and gone. Over the last few days, I have seen our OBC members participate as key organizers (Doug Corner, Peter Tregunno and Bob Hicks), as participants (nice to see our Club jerseys along with the many elite cyclists in the country), as volunteers and as enthusiastic spectators.
