Discussion Forum Instructions
In December 2015, the club discussion forum was migrated to google groups. Participants are able to post via the web interface or via e-mail. Participants can optionally receive posting via e-mail; either each posting individually or a daily e-mail digest. The forum is open to both OBC members and non-members. OBC members are indicated with the following badge:

To post to the forum, you must first e-mail your name and club membership number to the club webmaster to be added to the group. If you are not a member of the OBC, simply e-mail your name. Please indicate whether you wish to receive each posting individually or a daily e-mail digest. You will receive an e-mail notification once you have been added.
Once you receive a notification that you have been added to the group, you will be able to post by sending e-mail to the forum e-mail address:email@example.com
If you subscribed using a google account, either a gmail address or another e-mail that you've registered with google, you can also login to the forum and post messages via the website.
You can respond to any posting by replying to the e-mail you receive.

- Please consider your audience before replying. Using Reply will reply to just the Sender.Using Reply-All will reply to the Sender and the entire list.
- Please be considerate when replying and ensure that you aren't including e-mail addresses in your reply. Many e-mail clients will include e-mail addresses in the body of the reply. Please remove these before posting publicly.
E-mail Subscription Settings
If you subscribed using a google account, you can login to the forum, click My Setting->Membership then E-mail settings->E-mail Delivery Preference to configure how you wish to receive e-mail.
Otherwise, you can e-mail the club webmaster and indicate whether you wish to receive each posting individually or a daily e-mail digest.
